1. Avoid Moisture:

• Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or any activity that may cause it to get wet.
• Moisture can tarnish silver and damage plated finishes and some gemstones.

2. Limit Exposure to Chemicals:

• Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and cleaning products. The chemicals in these can react with the metals and stones, causing discoloration or damage.
• Put on jewelry after applying cosmetics and fragrances.

3. Handle with Care:

• Avoid dropping or hitting your jewelry against hard surfaces, as this can scratch metals and chip or loosen stones.  
• When putting on or taking off bangles, avoid excessive bending or pulling.

4. Storage:

• Store jewelry in a clean, dry place, ideally in individual soft pouches or compartments in a jewelry box to prevent scratching and tangling.  
• Keep silver jewelry away from air and light when not worn to minimize tarnishing. Consider storing it in an airtight bag with an anti-tarnish strip.
• Store plated jewelry separately to avoid friction that can wear away the plating.

5. Cleaning:

• Sterling Silver: Gently polish with a soft, lint-free silver polishing cloth to remove tarnish and restore shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Gold Tone / Silver Tone: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid polishing cloths designed for precious metals as they can remove the plating.
• Gemstones/Crystals/Pearls: Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth (if needed) and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, which can damage some stones. For pearls, avoid excessive moisture and harsh cleaners.  
• Enamel: Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbi
